Buy a domain for your business and connect it to Loopi.

Don't have a domain yet? That's fine — this walks you through buying one for about $10 a year and pointing it at Loopi, so your website and business email both run under your own name instead of a placeholder address. No coding, no DNS knowledge, nothing to click except the obvious buttons.

What you'll get

Right now, if you don't own a domain, your site and mail live on a Loopi-branded address. Buying your own domain and connecting it to Loopi replaces that with something that's actually yours. By the end you'll have:

• Your own domain — yourbusiness.com instead of a shared Loopi address. About $10-12 a year, no surprise price jump at renewal.
• That domain already pointed at Loopi. Your website and your business email both go live under it — one purchase, one connect step.
• Free WHOIS privacy. Your name, address, and phone number stay off the public domain lookup — most registrars charge extra for this; Porkbun includes it.

1 · Pick a name

A few rules of thumb that save you a re-do later:

• .com first. It's still the ending people type without thinking. Only go with something else if your exact .com is truly unavailable.
• Keep it short. Easier to say on the phone, easier to type on a receipt or a truck door.
• Match your business name. The domain should be instantly recognizable as you — not a stretch spelling with dropped vowels or extra hyphens.

2 · Create a free Porkbun account

3 · Search for your domain

Once you're logged in, go to porkbun.com/checkout/search and type the name you picked. Porkbun shows you availability and the price for every ending — .com, .co, .biz, and more — instantly. Pick .com if it's available.

4 · Register it

Add it to your cart and check out. Domain registrations are final — there's no undoing a purchase once it's placed, so double-check the spelling before you pay. One year is enough to start; you can renew anytime before it expires.

5 · Connect it to Loopi

Now point your new domain at Loopi so your website and business email both go live under it.

1. In Loopi, open the Website tab, find the Domain section, and click Connect domain. Enter the domain you just bought.
2. Loopi shows you 4 nameserver records, each with a copy button.
3. Back at Porkbun: go to Domain Management, click your domain, open Nameservers, and replace the default Porkbun nameservers with the 4 values Loopi gave you. Save.

6 · What happens next

Nameserver changes take a little while to spread across the internet — usually minutes to a couple of hours. You don't have to do anything else while you wait. Loopi checks in the background, and the moment your domain resolves to Loopi's nameservers, it automatically writes the website and email records for you — the ones you'd otherwise have to configure by hand. Back on the Website tab, the status flips from "Setting up" to "Live" on its own; click Check status anytime if you don't want to wait for the automatic refresh.
